Information about it was first available on 29 December 2023 at 22:00 UTC on SplatNet 3 after the conclusion of a Sheldon's Dress-Up Showdown Challenge. It was first available on 17 January 2024 during Chill Season 2023 as the twenty-second available Challenge in Splatoon 3.
Description
During the Challenge, the Rainmaker weapon appears in modes other than Rainmaker.
In this Challenge, the Rainmaker will not drop where the holder is splatted, instead the Rainmaker returns to the center of the map. Similar to standard Rainmaker there is a timer for the holder of the Rainmaker. If the timer reaches 0 the holder will be splatted, however unlike standard Rainmaker, the Rainmaker will return to the center of the map from the explosion timer reaching 0.
