Chinooks are Salmonoids that appear during Mothership. They are the only Salmonoid that drops Golden Eggs during this occasion. Instead of dropping three Eggs, they will only drop one.

Chinooks resemble Octocopters and carry large white and blue crates from the Mothership. They will not follow the Mothership when it goes to the Egg Basket. Chinooks do not attack. The crates they drop will spawn Lesser Salmonoids. These crates will glow red when they are about to open but can be destroyed before doing so. 'Chinook' is a kind of airship. If you attack a Chinook it will slowly drop one Golden Egg. Because of this, it is it is debatable that they are boss Salmonoids.
