Chicken vs. Egg is an upcoming Splatfest event in Splatoon 2. It will be held globally. It was announced on social media on 22 July 2020. It was announced in-game on 7 August 2020. Results from all regions will be combined. It is a rematch of the original Chicken vs. Egg Splatfest from March 2018.
Details
Chicken vs. Egg will feature the 8th Shifty Station layout, The Bunker Games.

Trivia
- This Splatfest marks the fourth time a theme was rerun in a region it did not originate in, with the rerun also being held in Japan where it was not originally held. The other three instances of this are Cats vs. Dogs, Rock vs. Pop and Money vs. Love.
- This also marks the first time the rerun was held in its original regions in addition to the new ones.
