The correct title of this article is #16 salty. The omission of the # is due to technical restrictions.

#16 salty is a song by Dedf1sh.

Description

This song is used for some stages that require the player to pop balloons and stages that require the player to defeat enemies. The song consists of a synthesizer instrument, starting the piece with a rising bass note which increases in pitch as well as a synthesizer rhythm that repeats and returns many times throughout the track. Soon after, percussion is added, with the return of the rising bass note. The song has a very frantic feel, due to the fast tempo, the fast synthesizer notes, and the repeating percussion ostinatos.

Etymology

Salty is a slang term referring to frustration over losing. Fittingly, this song is usually used in difficult stations.
