The Black 8-Bit FishFry is a clothing item in Splatoon. It is produced by the Firefin clothing brand, comes with the main ability Defense Up, and has a 1-star rarity.
It can be purchased from Jelly Fresh for 600 cash.
Appearance
The Black 8-Bit FishFry is a short-sleeved shirt that - despite the name - is not black, but a very dark gray. On the front is a large, pixelated version of the Firefin logo, with the colors inverted. On the back is the same thing, but with the logo turned around as if seen from behind. It has a tiny white tag at the bottom, also with the Firefin logo with inverted colors.
Abilities
The Black 8-Bit FishFry comes with Defense Up as a main ability. As a 1-star item, it also has one slot for a secondary ability. Since it is made by the Firefin brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) and a lower chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up.
