Bounce pads are simple air beds usually seen with Octarian tentacle decals on them. Bounce Pads cannot be inked, meaning [[Agent 4]] cannot hide still in a puddle of ink and recharge, however pressing the B Button when Agent 4 bounces on Bounce Pads will make them jump higher, however note that jumping on them in squid form is much less effective than jumping on them in humanoid form. Mobile Octotroopers can also bounce on bounce pads, however the threat they pose does not change much. Most areas with Bounce Pads will be filled with moving platforms that are strategically placed to push Agent 4 out of bounds, though most of the time they can be jumped over with good timing.

Bounce Pads, written as bounce pads in Splatoon 3, are platforms found Octo Canyon, Shifty Station, the Octo Expansion, Return of the Mammalians, and Side Order. They are shaped like air beds and come in many different colors.

Holding allows the player to bounce higher after landing on a Bounce Pad; this is useful for clearing obstacles near or on Bounce Pads. Otherwise, the player will bounce up to a moderate height. Players cannot spread ink on Bounce Pad surfaces or swim on them.
