Labels

Many of Enperry's gear has labels with the names King, Octoking and Eminence for headgear and clothing, and Squidkid, N-pacer and Enperrials for footwear.

King

The name comes from the Japanese label which translates to 'king' as well.

Clothing that have the label King in their name are:

Octoking

Similar to the King label, the name comes from the Japanese label which translates to 'king octo'.

Headgear that have the label Octoking in their name are:

Clothing that have the label Octoking in their name are:

Squidkid

The name comes from the words 'squid' and 'kid'. It might be a reference to Nintendo's Splatoon "Squid Kid" Commercial, released on May 12, 2015, on Nintendo of America's Youtube page. In the commercial the lines "You're a kid now/You're a squid now" were repeated several times.

Footwear that have the label Squidkid in their name are:

N-Pacer

The name comes from the Japanese label, "En-Pacer".

Footwear that have the label N-Pacer in their name are:

Note: N-Pacer Sweat has the shoes of the N-Pacer line printed on its front and back, a reference to those shoes and this likely means it doesn't belong in the N-Pacer line.

Eminence

Headgear that have the label Eminence in their name are:

Clothing that have the label Eminence in their name are:

Enperrials

The name likely comes from 'Enperry' and 'imperial'. This is supported by the Japanese and Italian labels which both translate to 'imperial'. Since the label refers to shoes, the 'S' is added to make it plural.

Footwear that have the label Enperrials in their name are:

Trivia

  • Enperry's name in Inkling loosely resembles 大王イカ (daiō-ika), the Japanese name for giant squid.
  • In Splatoon 2, Crusty Sean wears a white baseball cap turned backwards with Enperry's name on it. This hat does not resemble any Enperry headgear available to players.
