The Five-Panel Cap(NA)[a], or 5-Panel Cap(EU/OC)[b], is headgear in Splatoon and Splatoon 2. It is a 2-star item produced by [[File:Zekko_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] and comes with the main ability S2 Ability Comeback.png Comeback.

Appearance

The Five-Panel Cap is a baseball cap that, aside from a thick black stripe down the center, changes color depending on that of the wearer's Ink (though not to match it exactly), with the brim being slightly darker. On the front, in the middle of the black stripe, there is a tiny version of the [[File:Zekko_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] logo, and on both sides of the cap is a fairly small gray button.

Abilities

The Five-Panel Cap comes with Comeback as the primary ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Headgear, prevents the wearer from also having Last-Ditch Effort, Opening Gambit, or Tenacity. As a 2-star item, the Five-Panel Cap comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the Zekko gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Special Saver and a lower chance of rolling Special Charge Up to fill its secondary ability slots.
