FrostyFest (Chill Season 2023) is an upcoming Splatfest that will take place during Chill Season 2023 in Splatoon 3. It was announced on social networks on 29 November 2023.[1][2]
The Splatfest's theme and event period have yet to be announced.
Details
As a special Splatfest, FrostyFest will be accompanied by several cosmetic changes to the game, as well as new gear:
- The logo on the title screen will change to the FrostyFest logo, similar to Splatoon 2's FrostyFest.
- Splatsville and Inkopolis Plaza will be decorated with a Christmas theme. Such decorations included a snow effect, snowmen sculptures, snowflake decals and winter clothing on the animal statues.
- Deep Cut and the Squid Sisters will wear special outfits.
- Shiver's signature color turns to light ice blue, with her tentacles, eyebrows and shawl changing to it. She wears matching eyeshadow in place of her usual red, an ornate black face mask featuring an octopus design, a black octopus tentacle ornament in place of her standard hachimaki, and no earrings.
