Hello! I'm Requesting for Patroller rights. I've been considering whether to do this for a few hours, and ultimantley decided to do so, so here are some reasons:

Activity- Even if I don't edit, I do check the wiki almost everyday for atleast an hour. (I did have a few months of inactivity over the summer, but im back at it again!)

Experience- I have good wiki editing experience, with 1,500+ edits (some minor, I will admit) combined across wikimedia foundation projects. I admit some of my earlier edits on here arent the best, but I have a good hang of it now and always have good intent when making edits.

Understanding- Adding on to the last topic, I have a good understanding of formatting and style, and what is/isn't apropriate on the wiki.

Friendliness/aproachability- I always assume good faith first, and will give advice and critiqes rather than just telling a user they did something wrong. I try to be as nice as possible, but I can hold a user accountable for their actions when needed as well.

I beleive thats all the points I had, so have a nice day and thank you for considering my request! Puddle 20:20, 30 March 2024 (UTC)

  1. Two major sticking points for me. The first is that while you have stated some form of experience (which is still not a ton or verified with links to other sites), it does not really justify giving you additional rights in any way. Nothing presented demonstrates that being a Patroller will help you with your editing, projects, or the community—it just seems like this is being done for the purpose of having the rank with it. Is there something Patrollers have that you need or would vastly improve your editing prowess? It doesn't seem so based off your contributions log. Furthermore, I have a really difficult time signing off on someone being a patroller when their request to be one has multiple spelling errors. Give it some more time, I suggest.
