The Mecha Head - HTR is headgear in the Splatoon series.

It is a 3-star item produced by SquidForce and comes with the primary ability Main Power Up. It is only available as a CoroCoro Comic promotion in Japan. It cannot be ordered from another player.

CoroCoro Comic held a drawing competition for designing a new set of gear in which the winning design would get to be in the game. The set was released at 15 April 2019 for Japanese copies only. It includes: Mecha Head - HTR, Mecha Body - AKM and Mecha Legs - LBS

The Mecha Head - HTR is a mechanical helmet. It has multiple large bolts sticking out of it, and multiple pink screens, one covering the eye.

The Mecha Head - HTR comes with Main Power Up as the primary ability. As a 3-star item, the Mecha Head - HTR comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the SquidForce gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Resistance Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main) to fill its secondary ability slots.

This item was worn by Goggles, with the rest of the Mech gear, in chapter 33 of the Splatoon manga for a short period of time.
