The Old-Timey Shoes are a pair of shoes in the Splatoon series.
They are a 2-star item produced by Cuttlegear and come with the primary ability Run Speed Up. They are obtained from the Octo Expansion by talking to Iso Padre after collecting nine sets of mem cakes (including grayscale mem cakes). They must then be claimed from a box in Inkopolis Square after completing the Octo Expansion. They cannot be ordered from another player.
Appearance
The Old-Timey Shoes are a pair of black Slip-Ons with a pair of white tube socks (worn over the pants or tights, if there is any) with a pink Cuttlegear logo on it.
This item is worn by Cuttlefish during the events of the Octo Expansion. However, his version has the socks worn under his pants.
Splatoon 2
Abilities
The Old-Timey Shoes come with Run Speed Up as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the Old-Timey Shoes come with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since they are made by the Cuttlegear gear brand, they have equal chances to roll any secondary ability.
