The Pilot Goggles are headgear in the Splatoon series.

In Splatoon, they are a 3-star item produced by Forge and come with the primary ability Bomb Range Up. They can be purchased from Cooler Heads for Cash 5,500.

In Splatoon 2, they are a 2-star item produced by Forge and come with the primary ability Sub Power Up. They can be purchased from Headspace for Cash 5,500 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for Cash 11,000.

Appearance

The Pilot Goggles are a large pair of shiny metal goggles with a dark brown strap. They have clear lenses and a ring of small holes around each lens. They are worn on the forehead, rather than over the eyes.

Abilities

The Pilot Goggles come with Bomb Range Up as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the Pilot Goggles come with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since they are made by the Forge gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Special Duration Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) to fill their secondary ability slots.
