Power Armor

The Power Armor^(NA), or Power Armour^(EU/OC), is a type of clothing in Splatoon. It is a 2-star item produced by the amiibo brand and comes with the main ability Quick Respawn.

This item cannot be purchased. Instead, it can only be obtained through completing the Inkling Squid amiibo's challenges.

Appearance

The Power Armor is a huge, bulky set of armor. Its base layer is made of dark gray metal, and it has light gray plates on the chest and arms with a few medium gray spots. It includes large metal gloves that are part of the sleeves. Coming out of the chest plates and curving around the shoulders to the back are two thick tubes with a a pattern in black as well as the wearer's ink color.

Abilities

The Power Armor comes with Quick Respawn as a main ability. As a 2-star item, it also has two slots for secondary abilities. Since the amiibo brand does not change the likelihood of any secondary abilities, they all have an equal chance.

Complete these four challenge missions to unlock it:

1. Gusher Gauntlet — Take to the Skies! (Limited ink)
2. Floating Sponge Garden — Soak It Up! (Limited ink)
3. Spreader Splatfest — Ink Stains & Teardrops (Kraken)
4. Shootin' the Sneeze... The Dreaded Octonozzle! (Boss #2) (Kraken)
