- The station title's "radical" is an 80s slang word meaning "cool" and the subtitle's "mondo" is a slang word meaning extreme in degree or nature while "grindage" is a slang word for "snacks", with the fact that it contains "grind", like grinding on ride rails.
- Radical Rails Station was revealed before Octo Expansion was released.
- The
Japanese name of this station is a pun on "Tsuppari", a type of delinquent youths. It was a Japanese slang term in the 80s.
- This station has Gayla Sky Spy kites floating around in the background. These kites of the Japanese brand Gayla were popular in the 70s.
