The Strapping Reds are a type of shoes in Splatoon. They are a 1-star item produced by Splash Mob and come with the main ability Ink Resistance Up. They can be purchased from Shrimp Kicks for 700 cash.
Appearance
The Strapping Reds are a pair of flattish shoes with three thick Velcro straps instead of laces and short gray socks worn underneath. They are mostly red, with a white stripe toward the bottom and a white zig-zag pattern on both sides. On the topmost strap is the Splash Mob logo in white.
Abilities
Strapping Reds come with Ink Resistance Up as its main ability. Since they are made by the brand Splash Mob, the shoes have an increased chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main) as a sub ability, but a reduced chance of rolling Run Speed Up.
