The Red Hi-Tops are shoes in Splatoon and Splatoon 2. It is a 2-star item produced by [[File:Krak-On_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]].

It can be purchased from for File:1,800 Icon Cash.png and from for File:1,800 Icon Cash.png or from SplatNet 2 for File:3,600 Icon Cash.png.

Appearance

The Red Hi-Tops are a pair of bright red canvas high-tops. The toe and laces are white and the sole is brown with a [[File:Krak-On_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] logo. At the top of the tongue is a very small Krak-On logo on a white label.

Abilities

The Red Hi-Tops come with Ink Resistance Up as the primary ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Shoes, prevents the wearer from also having Bomb Sniffer or Stealth Jump. As a 2-star item, the Red Hi-Tops come with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since they are made by the Krak-On gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Swim Speed Up and a lower chance of rolling Defense Up to fill their secondary ability slots.

As a 2-star item, the Red Hi-Tops come with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since they are made by the Krak-On gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Swim Speed Up and a lower chance of rolling Bomb Defense Up DX to fill their secondary ability slots.
