Skate Helmet

The Skate Helmet is headgear in Splatoon and Splatoon 2. It is a 2-star item produced by [[File:Skalop_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]].

It can be purchased from for File:2,500 Icon Cash.png and from for File:2,500 Icon Cash.png, or from SplatNet 2 for File:5,000 Icon Cash.png.

Appearance

The Skate Helmet is a round helmet with several square-shaped holes in the top. Its main color changes to match that of the wearer's ink, and the edge is black. The helmet has many adornments, including a large [[File:Skalop_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] logo, some black graffiti, a tiny white sticker with some writing and symbols on it, a white Inkling word inside a white rectangle, and two parallel white stripes. Buckled under the chin is a black strap securing it to the wearer's head.

The Skate Helmet comes with Special Saver as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the Skate Helmet comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the Skalop gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Quick Respawn and a lower chance of rolling Special Saver to fill its secondary ability slots.
