Splatoon for Nintendo Switch is considered to be an enhanced port or possible sequel to Splatoon. While it was revealed on October 20, 2016 during the Nintendo Switch reveal trailer, Nintendo has not yet officially confirmed that this or any other game showcased in the video is in development. Description

Very little is known about this version of Splatoon, except that it features at least one new stage, multiple new gear items (including pants/trousers), weapons, and additional character customization in the form of hairstyles. The purpose of this demo was likely to demonstrate the Nintendo Switch's ability to connect multiple Switches at the same time.
