Squee-Gs (Suckerfish in the European localization) are Octarian enemies that appear in Hero Mode and possess the ability to absorb ink. They glow yellow when absorbing ink, and appear blue when idle. Squee-Gs cannot be harmed by ink and function more as an obstacle than an enemy as they don't seem to harm Inklings. They only move within a set area which makes predicting their behavior easy. Also, while they can be found on the ground, they are mostly commonly found clinging to walls in order to hinder an Inkling from swimming up them.

Trivia

• The name "Squee-G" is a pun on "squeegee", a surface cleaning tool.
