The Squid-Pattern Waistcoat(NA)[a], or Squid Pattern Waistcoat(EU/OC)[b], is a type of clothing in Splatoon. It is a 1-star item produced by Krak-On and comes with the main ability Special Duration Up.
It can be purchased from Jelly Fresh for 800 cash.
Appearance
The Squid-Pattern Waistcoat consists of a long-sleeved button-down shirt and the red waistcoat worn over it. The long-sleeved shirt is a very pale blue with a black plaid pattern, and the waistcoat has three large dark gray buttons that go left over right. On either side of the buttons is a dark blue and tan design that may be a stylized version of some type of crustacean.
Abilities
The Squid-Pattern Waistcoat comes with Special Duration Up as a main ability. As a 1-star item, it also has one slot for a secondary ability. Since it is made by the Krak-On brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Swim Speed Up and a lower chance of rolling Defense Up.
