:::My main concern was to what other version the "The instruments sound less "live" and the vocals are less filtered" in the Demo version description was referring to, but now it is more clear to me that that is simply referring to the final version, thanks. To be fair, both versions sound almost identical to me, I don't note those differences stated there, but it could just be that I'm not so good at perceiving those things with all of the SFX in that trailer. Maybe I could compare them better when a rip of the final version releases later. -[[User:Kirbeat|Kirbeat]] ([[User talk:Kirbeat|talk]]) 05:18, 17 June 2022 (UTC)

Differences in the Demo version

So, the section about the (Demo) version currently says that in that version "The instruments sound less "live" and the vocals are less filtered.". It is comparing the Demo version to "another" version. My problem here is, to which other version is that referring to exactly?

As far as I know, there have been only three versions of this song revealed, all three covered on the page in the "Other versions" section: The one that plays in the "Return of the Mammalians" trailer, the one that plays in the "Release Date Revealed" trailer, which would probably be the one in the final game, thus being the final version (and this page even alludes in its opening paragraph that that is the final version, so maybe it should not be on the "Other versions" section, but that is another topic), and lastly the Demo version, which was released to the public by its own instead of being in a trailer.

In this page, it says that the RotM trailer ver. cuts some parts, but that it is "otherwise identical to the aforementioned demo version", and that the RDC trailer one doesn't fade and that "This version is otherwise identical to the demo version.". None of the descriptions of those versions mention that they sound more live and that the vocals are more filtered than the Demo version, so that description of the Demo version is not referring to them. But it can't be referring to any other version as there just aren't any more, and we don't have any "final" version of this theme completely confirmed, so that can't be comparing the Demo version to the "normal" version because there isn't any "normal" version of the song revealed yet.

I was thinking of just removing that piece of text and that's it, but still it drives my attention the fact that it was added there in the first place, and if it was added it was for something. When it was added it was along with the description of the RotM trailer version, evading the existence of the RDC trailer one, but the vocals and instruments of those two versions sound identical to me. So either I'm hearing wrong, or that is referring to something specific of an specific version of the song, which isn't so detailed in the page. What are your thoughts on that? -Kirbeat (talk) 05:48, 13 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

The final version of Clickbait exists. It is heard in the Release date trailer. So I hope that is the answer to your question. OrderSquid38 (talk) 23:24, 16 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
