To prevent any potential further back-and-forth editing, I'm going to bring this up here: I agree with [[User:Olivia]] and don't think there's at all sufficient reason to believe that "Memverse" could specifically be derived from "Miiverse". It is simply a common suffix between the two derived from "universe"; the term "metaverse" which is already mentioned is a much better fit due to being much more relevant to the nature of the Memverse (as opposed to Miiverse being strictly a social media platform). I'm against its inclusion on the page. {{User:Driftin Soul/Sig}} 09:56, 1 April 2024 (UTC)

Well, yes I would think that they are the same thing but, Project Memverse seems to be like the Memverse before it was fully created. The Memverse is most likely Project Memverse but after Marina launched it. Splat girl (talk) 14:33, 15 March 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Actually, from what I've seen, she originally called it Project Memverse, which remained the working title up until she was ready to beat test it, which made her change the name to Dramatic Days in Orderland... but after the incident with Order, she realises that DDiO is a program (or a module as she calls it) that runs in the Memverse (which she dropped thr project part from the name) - LatiusAuro (talk) 07:18, 16 March 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Etymology

To prevent any potential further back-and-forth editing, I'm going to bring this up here: I agree with User:Olivia and don't think there's at all sufficient reason to believe that "Memverse" could specifically be derived from "Miiverse". It is simply a common suffix between the two derived from "universe"; the term "metaverse" which is already mentioned is a much better fit due to being much more relevant to the nature of the Memverse (as opposed to Miiverse being strictly a social media platform). I'm against its inclusion on the page. Driftin Soul [Talk!] 09:56, 1 April 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
