City of Color or Inkopolis Sinker?

I noticed that on this page, as well, as others, that the Splatfest Lobby Theme is given the name City of Color / City of Colour. However, wouldn't a more accurate translation be Inkopolis Sinker, as is directly taken from Splatune? Jed1ndy (talk) 03:01, 27 November 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Perhaps, "Inkopolis Sinker" is someone's translation of ハイカラシンカ. but I think "Haikara Evolution" is more correctly. --Azoth (talk) 03:26, 27 November 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Ah, Splatune tells "High-Color Evolution" for ハイカラシンカ's English title in Japan region. --Azoth (talk) 03:29, 27 November 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yeah, I noticed that as well. ハイカラシンカ literally translatesto / is read as "High-Color Sinker," or "Haikara Sinker," though Also, the Japanese name for Inkopolis is "High-Color City". Jed1ndy (talk) 03:38, 27 November 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Well, We can get the "Official translations" for the titles of the musics. how should these do?--Azoth (talk) 03:44, 27 November 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yeah, I guess that would work. In the "Sinker" vs. "Evolution" department, I can't figure out which one they meant. 進化 (Shinka) does mean "evolution," however, since they spelled it as シンカ (Also Shinka), it is more often than not read as "sinker." Maybe it's just a joke that doesn't make sense outside of Japanese, and is supposed to mean both. Jed1ndy (talk) 03:58, 27 November 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
