New Super Mario Sunshine Rumor

Recently, a new SMS DLC rumor has emerged, but I wasn't sure if I should add it or not. Opinions?

Looking at the page, it looks all right - nice job :) My only worry is having the page turn into a giant list of too many fake leaks. Ideally, leaks that are reputable and covered by trustworthy Nintendo news sites are what I think we should cover. We could employ another rule: only leaks that generate massive discussion are allowed. If somebody on the depths of 4chan posts a blurry 64x64 image, and all the replies it gets are 4 people calling them an idiot, I hardly think we should try to cover that. – Espyo^T 08:01, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

August Update/DLC datamine

We know that the gatling gun and the paint bucket was confirmed from the Japanese testfire commercial. Some person (I don't think it was NWPlayer123) had already datamined Splatoon again. Squid Sisters amiibo rumour

Now, we have a latest rumour regarding to the unconfirmed/unannounced Squid Sisters amiibo shown in the game's files. Could someone please add this rumour to the article? Also the ongoing ones were already confirmed months ago. -InfiniteMusume (talk) 09:31, 8 February 2016 (UTC)

Splatoon 2 boss rumor confirmed

I can confirm that Callie does indeed show up as part of the "Octobot King II" battle, having been brainwashed by DJ Octavio's "Hypno-Shades". Link to confirmation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-1b541wFSg

Following up on this, I've found a second video verifying the above and confirming the Octostomp to be returning as the third boss. New Weapons and Gear Confirmed?

During the Splatoon 2 section of yesterday's Nintendo Direct, it looks like some of the leaked weapons were shown. In the part when they show the player ranking up to Rank X it looks like they are holding Custom Dualie Squelchers. And when they are showing player on the various new stages, some inklings appear to be holding other new weapons like the H-3 Nozzlenose D, a Brella type weapon, some form of Tetra Dualies possibly the Light Tetra Dualies, and possibly the Clash Blaster Neo. Also, when they were showing off some of the new gear you could see certain pieces like the Squid Nordic, Squid-Stitch Cap, and the Gas Mask. So, does this confirm these things? Can I make a new table?

Bravebravesirbrian here. I want to know if I can create a table of all the upcoming weapons found by dataminers and what we believe their weapon sets are, just to organize them and put them in one place.

This table could be updated as time goes on and more information is gained.

New datamines

There has been some new datamines, where for example WemI0 has been posting models for weapons such as Splatlings, Sloshers, and also Salmon Run gear. There has also been posted parameters for these weapons, and the Grizzco charger were leaked before the rotation began. Should these be added to the page? -Hinamin (talk) 08:41, 30 April 2018 (UTC)

Outdated Info

I see that the Ongoing section has content that's been confirmed ( Ballpoint & Explosher) and busted (Marie's Hero Charger & Flounder Heights). Could these and others like them be fixed? P.J. GT (talk) 23:11, 11 March 2020 (UTC)

Possible/placeholder/ Splatoon 3 date (most likely fake/not real, but I'm not sure)

This is a giant claim to say, but I looked at a website (I looked for the link of the website and I can't find it) and it showed that in the italian version of Amazon, the date that it had for Splatoon 3 was June, 30th, 2022. I am not sure if this rumor has enough evidence behind it or if the website just made up the photo saying the date for it to go here or be mentioned. CherryAudino75 (talk) 15:03, 1 March 2021 (UTC)

I'm gonna assume it is a placeholder date. June 30th is a common placeholder date, since it is the last day of the second quarter of the year. Businesses usually pick the last day of a quarter if the date hasn't been set yet. -- – 19:31, 1 March 2021 (UTC)
