amiibo Link

On pages like this one that include the link to the Splatoon 2 Girl amiibo ( Inkling Girl (Splatoon) amiibo), when you click on "Inkling Girl" it will go to the Splatoon 1 Girl amiibo. I don't know how to fix this but I thought I'd bring it to people's attention. User:GigaSplat/sig 14:43, 22 November 2017 (UTC)

Since I sent that last message I think I've figured it out. The links on this page and others just need to add "section=Inkling Girl 2" to the end of the template. Like this {{amiibo|Inkling Girl|game=Splatoon 2|section=Inkling Girl 2}} amiibo. User:GigaSplat/sig 00:49, 30 November 2017 (UTC)

I made a change to the template for a more robust solution, where you type in the amiibo's real name, and the rest (including display text) is deduced.
So now, it's a matter of simply typing {{amiibo|Inkling Girl}} for Inkling Girl (Splatoon) versus {{amiibo|Inkling Girl 2}} for Inkling Girl (Splatoon 2) (note the anchors on both links).
This makes the template a simpler interface (and did not make the internal logic much more complex).
The same issue was happening in the Squinja and Power Mk I set pages, and no-one bothered to fix it there (with the section parameter) until now, but my new version of the template fixes it intrinsically. -Inkrid (talk) 15:56, 13 February 2018 (UTC)
