Splatoon 2 album art possible reference?

Hi! I just wanted to say that the album art for Turquoise October in Splatoon 2 looks almost exactly like the album art of the X∞Multiplies album by Yellow Magic Orchestra. I don't know for sure if it's actually a reference or not but they look EXTREMELY similar. If u look up "X∞Multiplies Yellow Magic Orchestra" you'll see what I mean. Thanks for reading!
