Urchins Cap

The Urchins Cap is a type of headgear in Splatoon. It is a 1-star item produced by the Skalop brand and comes with the main ability Bomb Range Up.

It can be purchased from Cooler Heads for 600 Cash.

Appearance

The Urchins Cap is a black cap with a flat brim. On the front is a symbol in Inkling and on top of the brim is a somewhat large sticker with Skalop's logo in black and gold. Both the brim and the border around the symbol change to match the color of the wearer's Ink. The hat is worn at a slight angle.

Abilities

The Urchins Cap comes with Bomb Range Up as a main ability. As a 1-star item, it also has one slot for a secondary ability. Since it is made by the Skalop brand, It has a higher chance of rolling Quick Respawn and a lower chance of rolling Special Saver.

Trivia

• The symbol on the cap resembles the Japanese character　う (as in うに, or "sea urchin") written backwards.
• The Urchins Cap was originally called "Baseball Cap", and was primarily navy blue instead of black. It also had Damage Up as its main ability.
