Here's a list of ideas for the game from me. Feel free to suggest some...uh...ideas in the talk page, and I'll add them and credit you. Here's the list, ordered by the sections in the overworld GamePad map.

Lobby

Regular Battle

• A kill and death counter at the upper right of the screen, near the inked turf counter (Applies to all modes)
• A birds-eye view of the map, which shows dots for team members (or tracked enemies) in their ink color (Applies to all modes)
• Pre-set messages that you can use during matchmaking. Could be "Good Luck!", "Good game!", "Hi!", "Goodbye!", "Good job!", etc. Similar to Mario Kart 8. (Applies to all modes)

Ranked Battle

• An "MVP" system. The person who either 1) Controlled the zone which led to the timer for the team ending, 2) Took the tower to victory, or 3) Held the Rainmaker to victory.
  • The MVP gets +5 bonus ranked points
  • There can be two MVPs, depending on the ranked mode played.

Private Battle

• Choosing ink colors. Just do it Nintendo.
• Ability to make the game mode random.

Ranked Battle+

• Can only be unlocked by reaching Level 50
• Similar to ranked battle, except you can freely modify the Main Weapon, Sub Weapon, and the Special Weapon, like in modern shooters
• There are only two ranks: S+ and Adv.
• Reward when reaching Adv. 99

Octo Valley

Agent 4

• A new story mode where you are Agent 4, who is a spy.
• Similar to stealth games like 007, you sneak on various places and do stuff
• Occasionally you will do a 1v1 with an Octoling, now with "flop and throw Splat Bombs" AI!

Battle Dojo

• ALL WEAPONS USABLE
• ALL STAGES PLAYABLE
• 1v1 Turf War, Splat Zones, Tower Control, and Rainmaker (with quicker respawns) so Balloon Battle is an exclusive thing

New Weapons
