Hi, I set out on a goal to improve the Tournament Manager page. However, whilst researching I found the official Tournament Manager Help Page. I started putting bits of this help page into the article however I soon realised it would be far too big to put in one section. So i'm just asking what I should do: Either just get rid of it entirely (not needed), keep it (with some modifications like dropdowns) or make a new page with am archive. Thanks for any help, CodingAsteroid (talk) 10:36, 4 May 2024 (UTC)

:So, to start, we have discussed the possibility of making dedicated pages to archive Splatoon-related resources exactly as written (such as patch notes), but generally our mainspace pages should be a reasonable condensing of information rather than a complete and exact reproduction of external sites.
:I would recommend paring down your draft for revamping the Tournament Manager page considerably, and focusing mainly on the functionality of it, rewording or even entirely leaving out things like the community guidelines and other info that may not be directly relevant for our purposes (feel free to cite it as you feel necessary though, or simply to create an "External links" section at the bottom that links directly to the help page).
:If, in the process, you would like to create separate sandbox/draft pages that keeps the verbatim reproduction of the help/guidelines pages, you may. We can then weigh at a later time whether it's suitable to turn that into a proper archive page as I mentioned before. Thank you! 10:53, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
::Thanks for the advice @Driftin Soul. I think it's best to cite the help page or make an external links section as you recommended. I'll also copy the help page to a subpage incase it is needed in the future, otherwise it can be marked for deletion. Archive of the Tournament Manager Help Page

So, to start, we have discussed the possibility of making dedicated pages to archive Splatoon-related resources exactly as written (such as patch notes), but generally our mainspace pages should be a reasonable condensing of information rather than a complete and exact reproduction of external sites.
I would recommend paring down your draft for revamping the Tournament Manager page considerably, and focusing mainly on the functionality of it, rewording or even entirely leaving out things like the community guidelines and other info that may not be directly relevant for our purposes (feel free to cite it as you feel necessary though, or simply to create an "External links" section at the bottom that links directly to the help page).
If, in the process, you would like to create separate sandbox/draft pages that keeps the verbatim reproduction of the help/guidelines pages, you may. We can then weigh at a later time whether it's suitable to turn that into a proper archive page as I mentioned before. Thank you! Thanks for the advice @Driftin Soul. I think it's best to cite the help page or make an external links section as you recommended. I'll also copy the help page to a subpage incase it is needed in the future, otherwise it can be marked for deletion.
