Weapon and Ability Icons

What was the consensus about the allowance of Weapon and Ability Icons on certain pages? For the past few months, I have been adding tips for use and countermeasures to various several pages concerning main weapons. As a fellow user and player, I believe that icons can better visually aid players who are looking for tips on which abilities to pair with a certain weapon or which weapons serve as a counter against another weapon.

Here's a link to my Ink Pump proposal, where a consensus was reached. I understand that the icons draw attention to the weapon or ability being discussed, but those topics are not necessarily more important that other topics we discuss in articles, like stages or characters, where we were not placing icons next to each link. So, it would be inappropriate to draw attention to things with those icons. There's a few other reasons mentioned by me and others in that Ink Pump page, like how having the icons makes it difficult to copy article text and more difficult to create articles. On pages for Main Weapons, would tables, one displaying recommended Abilities and another indicating "Strong Against" and "Weak Against", be appropriate locations for Ability and Weapon icons? For example, on the page for the Splattershot Jr., the following could be used as a quick guide for Abilities to use:

Ability	Purpose
Ink Saver (Sub)	Allows more frequent use of Splat Bombs
Special Charge Up	Accelerates "farming" of Ink Armor

Will this be a reasonable use of Icons on Main Weapon Pages?

In the past, nearly every weapon page had a list of recommended abilities, but the lists were removed after there was agreement for opinions to be removed. So I can't endorse recommending abilities because recommended abilities were removed from weapon pages in the past.

Yes, every player has his or her own play style with each weapon. Even on sendou.ink, not every top 500 player can agree on the best loadout for each weapon! Some players are rather aggressive with the Splattershot Jr., loading it with Comeback and Quick Respawn! However, some patterns do emerge in which abilities are used the most by players at this level. From these tendencies and advice from various profreshional players, one can deduce which abilities each weapon would benefit the most from.

In the meantime, I will go ahead and add these tables, either along with or within a "Quick Facts" section, possibly in tabular format, as a quick reference for players.

About the staff page

Is someone editing the status of the staff page? I’ve noticed that all the status things say fully active, although some of the users are more in the partially active-to inactive range. Should someone edit that or are we just ignoring that? User:FLAME1232/Sig 01:47, 1 July 2020 (UTC)

Weapons Data

Greetings. I am in the process of creating Competitive-focused pages for each weapon in Splatoon and Splatoon 2, such as this one:

Competitive:Splattershot Jr.

Among the sections I copied from the original page for the weapon was the Data. In my humble opinion, this section is of great importance to profreshional players, especially after a version update. wrote to me that you are responsible for the Data sections for each weapon. I thought that it would be easier for players of all skill levels to follow if the data were in tabular form. Is this possible? If so, is there any way you can help me do this?

Template:@ It would be easiest if you make a table template for the data. That way, you wouldn't have to do any manual work on pages. Are you familiar with wiki templates? Take a look at Template:Charger data for example, you could create a new template based on that, just with a table instead of sentences. Every person should be treated in a respectful manner. Admins have a strong say about matters but they are people too and can make mistakes. I don't think a notice about the difference between certain functions the admins can do is very welcoming. 07:22, 14 October 2020 (UTC)

INK:BLOCK policy indicates that instant block would only occur in rare cases that are more clear about their intention. @P.J. GT I have a suggestion that might help with that. Use the web version of Discord by pressing the "request desktop site" button in your tablet's web browser. This article shows where to find it. Hi Prinz the overlord, it's great that you love helping people and checking regularly, because that is exactly what we need from patrollers. It looks like you have only a few weeks of experience on Inkipedia, so I suggest editing for a longer time before requesting rights. Also, only main space edits are considered when judging editing experience, so user page edits are ignored.
