White Headband

The White Headband is a type of headgear in Splatoon. It is a 1-star item produced by SquidForce and comes with the main ability Ink Recovery Up. It is available at the start of the game.

Appearance

The White Headband, as its name suggests, is primarily white in color. A long, gray arrow with three short "tentacles" at the base extends around almost the entire headband. The Inkling text from the SquidForce logo can be seen in white at roughly the arrow's midway point. In the empty space between the arrow's base and tip, there is a seam, with a small, bright pink tag sticking out.

This item does not change color to match its wearer's current ink color.

Abilities

The White Headband comes with Ink Recovery Up as a main ability. As a 1-star item, it also has one slot for a secondary ability. Since it is made by the SquidForce brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Damage Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main).

Trivia

• The White Headband originally lacked the gray stripe through the middle and featured the Tentatek logo on it. This can be seen in a few of the images released before Splatoon was finalized.
