Gear is the combined form of headgear, clothing, and shoes that Inklings can wear.
Three Shops in Inkopolis Plaza sell a respective type of gear:
- Annie in Cooler Heads sells headgear.
- Jelonzo in Jelly Fresh sells clothes.
- Crusty Sean in Shrimp Kicks sells shoes.
Each gear gives an Inkling or their weapons a boost. The gear has 1-3 stars indicating the amount of extra ability slots that gear has past its main ability. Gear also has a Brand that can have an effect on which extra abilities are likely to be assigned.
Experience Table
To unlock extra abilities on gear, a certain amount of experience must be earned while wearing that piece. The exact amounts are detailed in the table below:
