The Bleak Beak is headgear in Splatoon 3.
It is a 2-star item produced by SquidForce and comes with the primary ability Quick Super Jump. It is available from the Switch News channel as a promotion for the Zombie vs. Skeleton vs. Ghost Splatfest. It cannot be ordered from another player.
Appearance
The Bleak Beak is a leather plague doctor mask that covers the face. It attaches with four leather straps that wrap around the back of the head. The forehead features three chevron-shaped stripes that glow in the dark.
Splatoon 3
The Bleak Beak comes with Quick Super Jump as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the Bleak Beak comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Naut Couture for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since
it is made by the SquidForce gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Resistance Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main) to fill its secondary ability slots.
