The Varsity Jacket is clothing in Splatoon and Splatoon 2. It is a 3-star item produced by [[File:Zekko_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] and comes with the main ability 
Damage Up in Splatoon and 
Ink Saver (Sub) in Splatoon 2.

Appearance
The Varsity Jacket is a red letterman jacket with white sleeves and buttons. It has three [[File:Zekko_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] logos in black and white: a large one on the front, a smaller one on the left arm, and an equally small one on the front at the lower right. At the bottom, also in black and white, there is a circular design with a symbol at the center resembling an "S". On the back is larger circular design of what could be three stylized squids, printed in white. The jacket has two pockets on the front trimmed with white, and it is buttoned left over right.

The Varsity Jacket comes with Damage Up as a main ability.
As a 3-star item, it also has three slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the [[File:Zekko_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] brand, it has a higher chance of rolling 
Special Saver and a lower chance of rolling 
Special Charge Up.

The Varsity Jacket comes with Ink Saver (Sub) as a main ability when purchased from shops or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, this item can have any other ability normally available to Clothing items.
