Anarchy Poisons (Bird Mix) is a song performed by Shiver of Deep Cut.

Description

Anarchy Poisons (Bird Mix) is a laid-back song derived from Anarchy Rainbow. Shiver's use of the shima-uta singing style, as well as several instruments and synths, together resemble traditional Japanese folk music, notably ondo music.

During Splatfests in Splatoon 3, Shiver performs this song in Splatsville. In the first half of a Splatfest, she, like the other members of Deep Cut, stands atop her own float that moves around Splatsville as she sings and dances to her version of Anarchy Poisons; in the second half, the three floats combine to form one big stage, where Deep Cut performs Anarchy Rainbow together. Anarchy Poisons (Bird Mix), being a modified version of Anarchy Rainbow, uses Shiver's verse from the song with an added unique second verse. Instrumental fills space where the chorus would be.

Etymology

Anarchy refers to the chaotic nature of Splatsville and Splatoon 3 as a whole, and is derived from Anarchy Rainbow. Poisons and the title of Bird Mix refer to the three poisons, greed, hatred, and delusion, which are represented in Buddhist religion by a bird, snake, and boar respectively, statues of which are present in Splatsville. Bird Mix may also refer to the whistling, bird-like sounds heard throughout the instrumentation.
