Handshake vs. Fist Bump vs. Hug is an upcoming Splatfest event exclusive to the Americas/Oceania, Europe and Hong Kong/South Korea regions in Splatoon 3. It will be the third Splatfest to take place during Drizzle Season 2023 and was announced on social networks on November 8 2023.

The Japan region exclusive Kaiten-Yaki vs. Oban-Yaki vs. Imagawa-Yaki Splatfest will take place concurrently with this Splatfest.

Details

This is the first Splatfest in Splatoon 3 to differ by region: players who have selected the Americas/Oceania, Europe, or Hong Kong and South Korea regions will be able to participate in this Splatfest as a combined group, whereas players who have selected the Japan region instead will be able to participate in the Kaiten-Yaki vs. Oban-Yaki vs. Imagawa-Yaki Splatfest, which will be held at the same time.

• The initial announcement of this Splatfest on the Splatoon NA Twitter featured an image with slightly altered wording compared to other English-language announcements for both the question and the name of Team Fist Bump (see 'Artwork' above). The in-game announcement for North America later featured the same wording as the prior Europe and Oceania announcements.
