This is a list of glitches in Splatoon.

All versions

Out of bounds in Inkopolis Plaza

If the player heads toward the southwest portion of the Plaza, they may find two Inklings talking to each other just at the end of the yellow tiles. If the player jumps on top of the Inkling towards the east and an Inkling and then switches to a Squid as the fall, they may end up inside the plants and be able to leave the Plaza.[1]

===Zone Four skip in Hero Mode If the player needs to head towards the entrance to Zone Five in Hero Mode. From there, they will need to ink the Sponge to Zone Five and the electric gate that blocks access. From there, they need to do a squid jump with speed onto the left corner of the gate that is closest to the Sponge. With a proper jump, the player will temporarily land on an invisible spot of the gate. The player must immediately jump into the gate to bounce away from it and then attempt several jumps towards the sponge while still in Squid form. The player will be able to continue on from there to Zone Five as normal with the exception of the Zone Five cutscene not being shown. This can be done until the boss of Zone Four is defeated in The Rampaging Octowhirl! and the player can Super Jump to any beaten missions in Zone Five without needed to go back to Zone Four. [2]

Version 1.0.0 only

Judd flag rank oversight

The player will need to talk to Spyke and do one of the following: pay for an order, buy a Super Sea Snail, or reroll the abilities on a piece of gear. After paying Spyke, the player should go to Judd and talk to them. Judd will give you coins based on your current flag rank, but instead of adding it to the player's current balance, Judd will add it to the balance they had prior to paying Spyke. [3]
