Template:Infobox weapon The Bomb Rush is a Special Weapon in Splatoon.
Description
The Bomb Rush lets the player unleash a barrage of proximity Bombs. The bomb released depends on the Sub Weapon of the weapon set.
Bomb Rush can use:
- File:Weapon Special Bomb Rush Burst Bomb.png Burst Bombs,
- File:Weapon Special Bomb Rush Splat Bomb.png Splat Bombs,
- File:Weapon Special Bomb Rush Suction Bomb.png Suction Bombs, or
- File:Weapon Special Bomb Rush Seeker.png Seekers
It should be noted that a player using Bomb Rush can still attack normally.
Usage
Like all special weapons, Bomb Rush must be charged before use, which is accomplished by spreading ink. Once charged, the player may click the right analog stick to activate it. When activated, it creates a message with the player's image and the special used (in this case, the Bomb Rush) for teammates to see.
Notes
“ | Activating Bomb Rush allows you to deploy unlimited sub weapons, including Splat Bombs, Burst Bombs, and Suction Bombs. This special remains active for approximately six seconds. During this time, continually spam sub weapons in an effort to take out opponents and spread ink—don’t worry, you won’t run out of ink while Bomb Rush is active. During Turf War, a last-minute push with Bomb Rush can make all the difference, especially if using Splat Bombs or Suction Bombs, covering ink over a wide area before the opposing team can respond. | ” |

Tips
- There's no real indication when Bomb Rush wears off outside of the player's hair reverting to it's normal non-glowing state, unless the player can keep their eye on the special meter, as it slowly depletes until the special is over. So pay attention when it happens, or you may end up continuing to throw bombs and deplete your ink tank.
- Splat and Suction Bomb Rushes can be great for defending or retaking a Splat Zone, as they deal high damage and cover lots of ground.
- One way to know when the Bomb Rush is about to end is to memorize the maximum amount of bombs that can be thrown until the special gage runs out.
- Usually, a single charge will allow for up to 11 Suction Bombs, 12 Splat Bombs, or 18 Burst Bombs.
- These numbers can be increased with the Special Duration Up gear ability.
- When using a Burst Bomb Rush, keep in mind that there is reduced lag to throwing Burst Bombs in rapid succession.
