Cans are items in Splatoon and Splatoon 2 that grant the player a weapon, Power Eggs, effects or CQ Points.
Description
Cans in the Splatoon series appear similar to a can of tuna. They appear only in Octo Valley, Octo Canyon, the Battle Dojo, and the Deepsea Metro.
Types
Mystery
The Mystery Can only appears in Battle Dojo, and does not give a set weapon. Its label is decorated with a large question mark with two eyes over a background of colorful ink splats. Unlike the ones seen in Octo Valley, these ones don't exclusively give a Special weapon, they also may give the player the effects of a sub weapon. Using it will randomly select an ability from below.
- Bubbler: Equips player with a bubbler.
- Disruptor: Causes the opponent to suffer as if under the effects of a disruptor.
- Full Power-Up: Causes the player to recieve a temporary stat boost.
- Inkstrike: Automatically sends an Inkstrike to the opponent's current location.
- Inkzooka: Equips the player with an Inkzooka.
- Point Sensor: Causes the player to see the opponent as if under the effects of a point sensor
- Sprinkler: Automatically places a Sprinkler in front of the player.
- Super Jump: Automatically cause both players to swap places through a Super Jump.
Bomb Rush
The Bomb Rush Canned Special has a mostly yellow label with green accents. It features an image of a Splat Bomb, and its background is an image of multiple falling Splat Bombs, arranged in a pattern. Upon acquiring this Can, the Agent 3 can rapidly deploy their current sub weapon.
Bubbler
The Bubbler Canned Special has a mainly dark pink label with blue accents. It features an image of a male Inkling encased in a white, sparkling Bubbler. The label also includes yellow Inkling text, layered over the aforementioned image. Upon activating this Can, Agent 3 is able to use the Bubbler, an impenetrable shield.
Inkzooka
The Inkzooka Canned Special has a primarily green label with three large, red, vertical stripes, which appear to include a string of Inkling text. It features an image of an Inkzooka. Upon acquiring this Can, Agent 3 can utilize the Inkzooka.
Trivia
- A Bubbler Canned Special stacked on top of a Bomb Rush Canned Special can be seen on the desk of Template:S' Splash Screen
