On July 11, 2015, Nintendo's fourth president, Satoru Iwata, died of a tumor inside of his bile duct. He had been fighting this ailment for a bit over two years, but it eventually overcame him, ending his glorious career. [2] On September 14, 2015, Nintendo announced Tatsumi Kimishima to be the new president of Nintendo of Japan, replacing Satoru Iwata. [3]
