It can be purchased from for Cash and from for Cash or from SplatNet 2 for Cash.

Appearance

The Part-Time Pirate is a black short-sleeved shirt worn over a long-sleeved shirt with horizontal white and green stripes. There are three [[File:Tentatek_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] logos on the short-sleeved shirt: a small white one on the left side of the chest, a large, lime green one on the back, and a tiny black one on an equally tiny green tag at the bottom. Also at the bottom, the end of the long-sleeved shirt can be seen poking out.

As a 1-star item, the Part-Time Pirate comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the Tentatek gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up and a lower chance of rolling Quick Super Jump to fill its secondary ability slot.

When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Clothing (with the exception of Ability Doubler). As a 1-star item, the Part-Time Pirate comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Trivia

• The name is most likely a reference to the Pirate-Stripe Tee, a shirt covered in horizontal stripes. "Part-time" would refer to the fact that only some of the Part-Time Pirate is striped.
