Roasted Brogues

The Roasted Brogues are a pair of shoes in the Splatoon series.

In Splatoon, they are a 1-star item produced by Rockenberg and come with the primary ability Defense Up. They can be purchased from Shrimp Kicks for  700.

In Splatoon 2, they are a 1-star item produced by Rockenberg and come with the primary ability Bomb Defense Up. They can be purchased from Shella Fresh for  1,200 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for  3,000.

Appearance

The Roasted Brogues are a pair of blind brogues in a medium brown with dark brown soles and laces. They are worn with thick socks that extend halfway up the calf, adorned with a gray and red check pattern.

The Roasted Brogues come with Defense Up as the primary ability. As a 1-star item, the Roasted Brogues come with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since they are made by the Rockenberg gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Run Speed Up and a lower chance of rolling Swim Speed Up to fill their secondary ability slot.

When purchased from SplatNet 2, they come with any other primary ability normally available to Shoes. As a 1-star item, the Roasted Brogues come with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since they are made by the Rockenberg gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Run Speed Up and a lower chance of rolling Swim Speed Up to fill their secondary ability slot.
