School Uniform

The School Uniform is a piece of clothing in the Splatoon series.

In Splatoon, it is a 2-star item produced by amiibo and comes with the primary ability Ink Recovery Up. It is only available from the Inkling Girl or the Splatoon 2 series Inkling Girl 2 amiibo. It cannot be ordered from another player.

In Splatoon 2, it is a 2-star item produced by amiibo and comes with the primary ability Ink Recovery Up. It is only available from the Inkling Girl amiibo. It cannot be ordered from another player.

Appearance

The School Uniform consists of a navy blue jacket, a cream sweater, a white collared shirt, and a tie which changes its color to match the wearer's ink. On the top left side of the jacket is an emblem, likely a school emblem, and near the middle of each side of the jacket are pockets. The jacket also has two golden buttons on its front opening and another golden button can be seen on the back of each sleeve.

The A variant adds a plaided skirt which changes color to match the wearer's ink and the coat's frontal buttons are on the wearer's left side.

The B variant does not come with an extra bottomwear, has a shorter sweater, and coat's frontal buttons are on the right side.

In Splatoon and Splatoon 2, both variants are unnamed and the A variant is applied for girls, while the B variant is applied for boys. In Splatoon 3, both variants are available as separate pieces of gear and can be worn regardless of the wearer's style.

Abilities

The School Uniform comes with Ink Recovery Up as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the School Uniform comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the amiibo gear brand, it has equal chances to roll any secondary ability.

Unlock

To unlock the School Uniform, the player must play the second set of Octo Valley missions from the Inkling Girl amiibo:

The School Uniform is received after completing the boss challenge.

Splatoon 2

Template:InfoboxGear The School Uniform is available only through use of the first generation Inkling Girl amiibo. The Inkling Girl 2 amiibo does not unlock this item. Players must save a set of gear to the amiibo and win a certain amount of battles. After meeting those conditions, the player receives the School Uniform upon talking to the amiibo.
