Splatlings are one of the five Main Weapon classifications in Splatoon. These Gatling-style weapons function like Chargers, where they require time to charge up to increase effectiveness. Though, rather than extend damage and range, a Splatling's charge instead increases the weapon's fire duration.

The first weapon in this class, the Heavy Splatling, was released in the August Update on August 6th.

List of Splatlings

• The Heavy Splatling Series
  • Heavy Splatling – The first available Splatling in Splatoon. It has to be charged up a bit before it can shoot, and then shoots rapid-fire ink bullets in a long line until it has to be charged again. Comes with the Splash Wall and the Inkstrike.
• The Mini Splatling Series
  • Mini Splatling – A smaller Splatling variant that has a fast charge time and great mobility at the cost of range and power. It comes in a set with Suction Bombs and the Inkzooka.
