Squidstar Waistcoat

The Squidstar Waistcoat is a type of clothing in Splatoon. It is a 1-star item produced by the Krak-On brand and comes with the main ability Cold Blooded.

It can be purchased from Jelly Fresh for 650 Cash.

Appearance

The Squidstar Waistcoat consists of a pale blue, long-sleeved, button-down shirt and the navy blue waistcoat worn over it. The waistcoat has three large brown buttons that go left over right; on either side is a design in red, white, and yellow-orange with some symbols possibly representing squids. This design is repeated on the back, where it is slightly larger.

Abilities

The Squidstar Waistcoat comes with Cold Blooded as a main ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of clothing, prevents the wearer from also having Ninja Squid, Recon, or Haunt. As a 1-star item, the Squidstar Waistcoat has one additional slot for a secondary ability. Since it is made by the Krak-On brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Swim Speed Up and a lower chance of rolling Defense Up.
