The Takoroka Mesh is headgear in the Splatoon series.
In Splatoon, it is a 1-star item produced by Takoroka and comes with the primary ability Defense Up.
It can be purchased from Cooler Heads for 
400.
In Splatoon 2, it is a 1-star item produced by Takoroka and comes with the primary ability Bomb Defense Up DX.
It can be purchased from Headspace for 
400 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 1,000.
In Splatoon 3, it is a 0-star item produced by Takoroka and comes with the primary ability Sub Resistance Up.
It can be purchased from Naut Couture for 
400 or from SplatNet 3 Shop for 1,000.

The Takoroka Mesh is a baseball cap with a mesh back and white front. The brim and mesh change color to match that of the wearer's ink. On the front is Takoroka's logo in black. In Splatoon 3, the cap can be rotated to instead face backwards using the 'Adjust Gear' feature.

The Takoroka Mesh comes with Defense Up as the primary ability. As a 1-star item, the Takoroka Mesh comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the Takoroka gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Special Charge Up and a lower chance of rolling Special Duration Up to fill its secondary ability slot.
