The Undead Head is upcoming piece of headgear in Splatoon 3. It was announced to later release via the Splatoon 3 Switch News channel as a promotion for the Zombie vs. Skeleton vs. Ghost Splatfest.
Appearance
The Undead Head consists of mummy-like bandages wrapped around the forehead and upper face. The mouth and chin are left exposed, as is the right eye, but the gap for the left eye instead is cloaked in shadow with a glowing light where the left iris and pupil would be. On the right side of the head the bandages are tied in a knot with the ends dangling down the side of the face.
Splatoon 3
Abilities
The Undead Head comes with Quick Respawn as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the Undead Head comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Naut Couture for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the SquidForce gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Resistance Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main) to fill its secondary ability slots.
