Please don't add leaked content

Hey Giantplaytime, please don't add information that is currently accessible only through datamines to the wiki (such as the new special weapon internal name you added); Inkipedia's leaks policy was recently updated to no longer allow that type of datamined content. The information may be re-added to the Names in other Languages template after the new season begins, with a reliable source attached. Yoshifan52 (talk) 01:13, 17 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

oh okay sorry won't do it again (\*\) (talk) 14:33, 17 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Removal of Unrelated

I have once again removed your template as it is unnecessary. Please do not recreate it further. Both myself and other members have given a variety of reasons as to why it is functionally unimportant, and suggestions of how to implement the intent of the template (that being material is not inherently Splatoon series related) in other ways. Implement those other ways if necessary, but many of these examples you have listed as requiring the use of an Unrelated template are already explicitly clear they are not related to the games. hmm aright then I guess that this ain't needed
is kinda a shame though
Won't add it again

Username

Hey there, it looks like your username violates the Signature Policy which states that "user signatures are required to display the name of the user or approximation or derivation thereof". If you could, please change your display name accordingly. Thank You. Xando (talk) 15:18, 29 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

aright changed it to (K
text version of a combined version of a O and K (K (talk) 23:04, 29 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'm not sure if that's allowed, but I think it's fine for now. If anybody as a problem with it, you might just have to change it, but I don't know if anyone will.
Thanks, Xando (talk) 13:29, 1 December 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Sourcing for in-game screenshots

Hey, I noticed that you just uploaded two screenshots, File:S3 Inkjet Recall.png and File:Zipcaster Recall.png. These are really good, and I'm surprised we didn't have them yet, so thank you for uploading them! Though one small issue with them is their sources, which are listed as "Ingame". Sources for in-game screenshots should refer to who took the screenshot or where you got the screenshot from (e.g. a tweet or article). If you took these screenshots, you would use |source=self. If possible, could you update these files with the correct sources? Also, if you have any questions, let me know, and I'll be happy to help. Thank you, & happy editing! Yeah I myself was surprised that these files didn't exist, You've edited many other files created by me such as the File:Shell-Out Token.png improving the quality
Got the idea for these from File:Inkjet Landing Mark.jpg while spamming random file (K (talk) 14:59, 14 December 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Inkling (Coworker) article

Hey OcttKing, it looks like you placed the Inkling (Coworker) article draft back into your own user pages; I would've preferred if you had communicated to me rather than move it with no warning. I was planning to rework the information to add among general SRNW tutorial information, where it is better suited.

Documentation of the NPC coworkers is worthwhile, but it appears you've requested the draft is deleted per the end of the year announcement; your draft isn't at all something among the listed requested to be discontinued types of wiki content, so I'm confused on the draft's status. Are you planning to continue working on adding that information to the wiki? If not, may I copy the information you've typed up to repurpose it elsewhere eventually? Yoshifan52 (talk) 07:44, 17 December 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Sorry about stealing the page but feel free to edit it as you wish
Going to User:OcttKing/Sandbox Should explain
The policy states that a user must have under 5 subpages, by that I'd prefer to keep mine down so I merged all my sandboxes into one page

(K (talk) 14:32, 17 December 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Per the recently implemented sandbox policy, editors are allowed to have an unlimited amount of article draft sandboxes, in contrast to the up to five personal sandboxes. What this means is you can have a limited amount of pages that have nothing to do with the wiki, but an unlimited amount of pages related to the wiki. An example of an unrelated (personal) page would be a sandbox about my Splatoon OCs, whereas an example of a related (draft/test) sandbox would be your Inkling (Coworker) draft. Yoshifan52 (talk) 01:03, 18 December 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The End of year does not directly state the existence of the sandbox policy nor state any information within I did not know of the sandbox policy before deleting the pages
another thing is the sandbox policy is not explicitly clear on disambiguation sandbox pages something I thought of when considering a response (K (talk) 00:42, 19 December 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
