White Headband

The White Headband is headgear in the Splatoon series.

In Splatoon, it is a 1-star item produced by SquidForce and comes with the primary ability Ink Recovery Up. .

In Splatoon 2, it is a 1-star item produced by SquidForce and comes with the primary ability Ink Recovery Up. or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for  750.

Appearance

The White Headband is white with a thick gray stripe through the middle, ending in an arrow on one end and three short "tentacles" on the other. On the front towards the wearer's left side is Squidforce's name in white Inkling text. In between the start and end of the gray stripe is a small, bright pink tag with Squidforce's name again in white.

Splatoon

Abilities

The White Headband comes with Ink Recovery Up as the primary ability. As a 1-star item, the White Headband comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the SquidForce gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Damage Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main) to fill its secondary ability slot.

Splatoon 2

Abilities

The White Headband comes with Ink Recovery Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 1-star item, the White Headband comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since it is made by the SquidForce gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Resistance Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main) to fill its secondary ability slot.

Splatoon 3

The White Headband could be seen in the Splatoon 3 Splatfest World Premiere.

Trivia

• The White Headband shares its brand, ability, rarity, and even part of its name with the White LS in Splatoon.
• The White Headband originally lacked the gray stripe through the middle. This can be seen in some promotional material from before the release of Splatoon.
• Based on its SplatNet 2 price, it can be deduced that the normal price of the White Headband would be  300 if it were purchasable from Headspace rather than being a part of the starting gear.
• As of Version 2.0.0 of Splatoon 2, the White Headband and the rest of the starting gear are the only pieces of gear that cannot have their original abilities restored if purchased through SplatNet 2, unless if ordered from another player through Murch.
